If you are looking for a lot of black bear action, come bear hunting with us!
We offer spot and stalk archery black bear hunts in the fall. This hunt is in a non-baiting zone during a pure archery season, when the bears are out actively feeding while getting ready for hibernation. The bears are very plentiful, with high numbers of large P&Y class bears. It is the most exciting bear hunting you will ever experience.

The average size bear in our hunting area has been over 6 feet with some exceeding 7 feet. Since we have a 2 bear limit you can double your chance at taking a real trophy black bear. Approximately 15-20% of the bears in our area are color phases from blonde to chocolate. Success rates on the first bear has typically been 100%.

You will be staying in a tented camp in wall tents complete with electric light, bunks and woodstoves for heat. A shower will be available as well. The kitchen will be the central point of the camp and will be run by our accomplished cooking staff.

24 August - 31 August

Black Bear Hunt Costs:

  • Black Bear Hunt (2 on 1): $3,300.00 US for 1st Bear plus $250 license and $600.00 for second bear
  • Black Bear/Archery Whitetail Combo (Pre-rut): $4,950.00 US and license $575.00
  • Black Bear/Archery Moose Combo (Pre-rut): $4,950.00 US and license $575.00
  • Non-hunting guests cost $150 US/day.
Fall bear hunts are six days in length, with a travel day on each end. Hunt dates shown include your arrival, pickup and departure days.

Included in black bear hunts:
• Meals and lodging during the hunt
• Transportation to and from Edmonton, Alberta.
• Guide services and preparation of trophies for travel.
Not Included in black bear hunts:
• Airfare to/from Edmonton, Alberta
• Black bear hunting license & wolf license- $250.00 US
• Taxidermy, shipping of trophies and meat
• Alcohol
• Hotels before and after the hunt
• 3.5% Goods and Services Tax is applied to all purchases.
